Project Completion Phase

Step Seven: Project Completion

The construction process follows through to completion of the project and completion of the final to do list. The final payment is not due until the to-do list is completed. The final payment initiates the two-year standard warranty. If the project qualifies, the five-year extended warranty begins at this time.

Workmanship Matters!

Although Blue Ribbon Residential Construction strives for perfection, everyone knows that small details will need attention. That is the reason behind the final “to do list”. Created at the end of the project by the homeowner, the “to do list” contains items or tasks that need repair, adjustment or completion. Here are some typical to do list items to check for:

  • Painting flaws
  • Caulking flaws
  • Missing hardware or hardware needing adjustment
  • Trim flaws or missing pieces
  • Inoperable electrical fixtures and outlets
  • Plumbing fixtures that need repair or adjustment
  • Appliances that need adjustment
  • HVAC controls that need adjustment

Blue Ribbon guarantees our quality of workmanship will meet or exceed the Home Builders Residential Construction Performance Guidelines published by the National Home Builders Association.

If you see a flaw or have a problem, be sure to tell us! Blue Ribbon Residential Construction has a reputation for customer satisfaction that we intend to uphold. Our recently earned Guildmaster award from Guild Quality comes from maintaining a 94% client referral rate over a long span of time.
